Decolonial Thought Partner

SOUL Companion

Word Alchemist

Supporting people, leaders and organisations through

profound change.

My WORK sits at the intersection of leadership,

sacred practices, social justice and storytelling.

Through training, mentoring, consulting and speaking,

I create spaces where people slow down, listen deeply, navigate complexity and discover what LIFE is asking of them.

I WORK with seekers, established pioneers,

emergent leaders, post-activist visionaries,

regenerative creatives, and sensitive SOULs,

standing at thresholds within entangled ecosystems.

A Diasporic Seed.

Eldest daughter of a refugee.

A child of migration, memory and mercy.

Dreamt into being by my grandmothers.

For more than 20 years, I worked across leadership, governance, humanitarian systems and alternative education. My life has unfolded across cultures, communities and continents, teaching me that belonging is not always given.

Cultivated.

Protected.

Remembered.

My practice draws from specialised training, with respected mentors and thought-leaders,continuous research, and over five decades of lived experience.

Alongside my professional journey is another lineage.

As an Initiated African Medicine Woman, my WORK is informed by ritual, dreamWORK, ancestral wisdom and sacred practices.

When it serves the people before me, I weave these traditions with strategic thinking, relational leadership and thoughtful inquiry, always with care, discernment and consent.

The breadth of experience, with leadership, governance and HUMANitarian practice, allows me to move comfortably between boardrooms and circles, organisational strategy, sacred practices, systems thinking and intimate HUMANe conversation.

It is a rare integration of strategic insight, relational wisdom and embodied practice.

I remember Yolanda's power in my bones, in my tears, and in my chest's trembling response to her words to me one weekend on a bus in Switzerland. The words arrived gently, unassuming but memorable, like rain in the desert: "You did good." That's all. I wasn't seeking affirmation. But something about the way she said those words rang with the vibrancy of an elderly prestige, like she knew things ordinary ways of knowing couldn't appreciate. And none other than Yolanda herself offered a conceptual way to hold the moment when she spoke about a "prior generosity". Yolanda knows the music that gave birth to music. She is wise, and that is rare.
